Softline customers honored with "SAMS Award 2019"
On the occasion of Software Asset Management Strategies (SAMS) 2019, Europe's largest Software Asset Management congress, we.CONECT awarded the coveted "SAMS Awards" in the categories "Overall SAM Project" and "Single Solution/ Specific Issue" for the 7th time.
Around 400 decision-makers met in Berlin from 24 to 26 February to award the coveted "SAMS Awards" via live voting. Rhenus Assets & Services GmbH was awarded first place in the category "Overall SAM Project".
"We congratulate the winners of this year's SAMS Awards, which convinced both the jury and the professional audience with their successful project implementations. We are particularly proud that all three awards in the 'Overall SAM Project' category were given to companies that we have been supporting for many years as a SAM consulting company", says Robert Härtwig, Head of SAM Services DACH at Softline Solutions GmbH. "We are pleased to have helped the award winners with tool implementations, operational SAM support, strategic consulting or regular audit support, to build and operate world-class, holistic Software Asset Management across their organizations."
Bastian Hostadt, Deputy Head of Software, Identity and Asset Management at Rhenus Assets & Services GmbH, also found words of praise:

Since 2014, we have been working closely with the Softline SAM-consultants. At the beginning, it was primarily about creating transparency as part of a self-audit. On basis of an extensive ISO assessment we jointly developed processes that are continuously developed by us and established worldwide. On a yearly basis the Softline SAM specialists support us during our global re-certification and give trainings to our decentralized SAM officers. This will ensure the long-term success of our SAM-initiative ", Hostadt continues.
We are honored that our customers Volkswagen AG and Hannover Rück SE were also honored as winners in the "Overall SAM Project" category. The awards in the "Single Solution/ Specific Issue" category were given to Continental AG, Panalpina Management Ltd. and the Comet Group.
