Noventiq Northern Europe (formerly known as Softline Northern Europe) helps organizations to get insight in their compliance position and enhance description of the IT landscape.

Scania, a Flexera and LeanIX user, faced challenges in managing and updating their IT landscape data, leading to delays and labor-intensive processes. Softline bridged the gap by creating a Flexera-LeanIX connector, enabling the import of software related data into LeanIX. Using an agile approach, the connector addressed challenges such as handling removed applications and integrating with LeanIX’s TRM module.

Challenge

Getting insight in and updating the factsheets regarding their technical architecture  was a struggle.

The solution

Noventiq Northern Europe brought the ITAM and the Enterprise Architecture teams together to:

  • investigate which fields in LeanIX EAM could be populated by Flexera data.
  • define the technical and functional process to automate the import and to make sure that, once the initial import populated all fields in LeanIX successfully, recurring updates will do the same.
